What China has done in industrial policy is not any different than what Koreans & Japanese did or the Germans before that.
There are some very fundamental reasons why Europe is feeling this shock now that EU elites would rather blame on China than itself.
German automaker sales in China is on an epic collapse so this level of alarm in Europe should not surprise anyone. I don’t expect the Europeans to stay silent as its traditional industries suffer from high energy cost.
