StockDuty Privacy Policy

StockDuty ("we", "us") keeps data collection to the minimum needed to run your account and deliver the alerts you ask for. This policy explains what we collect, why, and your choices.

What we collect

• Email address — used as your account identifier and to send you the sign-in code/link and the alerts you enable.
• Device push token — a token from Apple/Expo's push service, used solely to deliver push notifications to your device.
• Your watchlist — the ticker symbols you choose to track, so we know which alerts to send and can sync them across your devices.

What we do not collect

• No name, date of birth, or government ID.
• No payment or financial-account information.
• No precise location.
• No third-party advertising or cross-app tracking identifiers.

How we use your data

We use the above only to operate your account, sync your watchlist, and deliver the price, volume, news, and filing alerts you opt into. We do not use your data for advertising.

Sharing

We do not sell, rent, or share your personal data with third parties for their own purposes. We use Expo's push notification service (operated by Expo / Apple Push Notification service) only to deliver notifications you request. We may disclose information if required by law.

Data retention & deletion

We keep your data while your account is active. You can delete your account at any time in the iOS app under Watchlist → Settings → Delete Account, or by emailing support@stockduty.xyz. Either way, we delete your email, push token, and watchlist from active systems.

Children

StockDuty is not directed at children under 13 and we do not knowingly collect their data.

Security

We use industry-standard safeguards to protect your data, though no method of transmission or storage is 100% secure.

Changes

We may update this policy; material changes will be reflected by a new effective date on this page.
