What changed
My interpretation of pulling a “Greenspan” today would be looking at all esoteric microdata to figure out what is mismeasured —because a lot is mismeasured in these times of rapid technological change.
For one, were Greenspan at his prime today, i think he would have been looking at the hedonic pricing of compute and probe Fed staffs on how to properly deflate the output for AI.
Above all he is incessantly curious about data and how they are constructed. — via @AnnaEconomist
