$NPWR (NET POWER) — 8-K: Net Power closes 123 MW equipment acquisition, lifting Project Permian capacity to nearly 200 MW

Net Power acquired EMPower USA’s position under an EPC agreement with Saulsbury for an approximately 123 MW reciprocating-engine natural gas power generation facility. Saulsbury consented to the transfer and will serve as turnkey EPC contractor, with Wärtsilä supplying ten engine-generator sets totaling 123 MW. The transaction brings Net Power’s total potential power generation capacity to nearly 200 MW for the first phase of Project Permian in West Texas.
