I BENCHMARKED NVIDIA RTX SPARK : APPLE WINS THE CPU WAR , BUT NVIDIA GPU JUST BROKE MY TESTING CHARTS

What happened: Nvidia's RTX Spark platform, pairing an Arm-based Grace CPU with a Blackwell RTX GPU, has launched with reviews benchmarking it in the Microsoft Surface Laptop Ultra and other Windows laptops. Key numbers: Geekbench 7 single-core: RTX Spark 2604, Apple M5 Pro 3690, Snapdragon X2 Elite Extreme 3214. Handbrake 4K to 1080p: RTX Spark 02:01, Apple M5 Pro 01:45. Why it matters: The Grace CPU trails Apple's M5 Pro in single-core and multi-core tests, but the GPU matches RTX 5070 laptop levels and holds performance on and off the charger, a trait previously limited to Apple MacBooks.
