Strong Wi-Fi. Happy wife. Happy life. How ChatGPT helped me fix our home internet.

What happened: A Business Insider writer used ChatGPT to terminate a Cat 6 ethernet cable and hardwire his wife's laptop after her Zoom calls kept dropping. Key numbers: First attempt delivered about 100 Mbps instead of the 1 Gbps connection. After redoing the connector, speed reached around 850 Mbps. Why it matters: The account describes ChatGPT guiding tool purchases, wire ordering, and troubleshooting from photos, with the writer saying he could not have completed the fix without it.
