Vance faces tough questions on Iran war, immigration and more in CBS town hall

What happened: Vice President JD Vance took questions from voters on data centers, high costs, immigration and his own rhetoric in a CBS News town hall that aired Saturday night. Key numbers: Six U.S. soldiers were killed by an Iranian drone strike in Kuwait on March 1, the day after Trump started the war with Iran. Why it matters: The sharp queries, some from voters who said they backed him and Trump, previewed the rocky path Vance may face answering for the administration's record if he runs for president in 2028. Vance said there is "of course" a chance he does not run.
